DATE: September 2024 LOCATION: CVG Centre, 77 Comair Blvd. Erlanger, KY PARKING: Any available, non-visitor, parking spot, DROP OFF & PICK UP: Main front entrance. During pick-up, please wait in a parking spot until the class dismisses so that we are not preventing access to the building. ATTIRE: Business casual. No jeans, please. OBJECTIVES:
- Learn how communities present themselves to attract and retain talent and business through interactive exercises.
- Gain a better understanding of the relationship between local government, entrepreneurship, and economic development.
- Observe real-life examples of entrepreneurship as an economic driver in our region.
- Learn about education and career opportunities in entrepreneurship and economic development.
- Sharpen student skills relating to listening, verbal presentation and consensus building.
- Apply newly learned concepts.
