Health Day will expose you to the economic realities of modern healthcare and to national and local health care trends and issues. This session will help prepare you to begin to make informed health decisions and explore the values and ethics associated with health care from the perspectives of physicians, other healthcare providers, and the community.
Time: 7:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Attire: Business casual (jeans with no tears or rips are permitted) You will be walking outside during this session so please plan accordingly. You will want to wear coats, comfortable shoes and warm clothing.

- Overview of careers in healthcare or health-adjacent fields.
- Experience the critical thinking and decision making that occurs in a hospital or patient setting.
- Establish a foundation for the role of ethics within healthcare.
- Become familiar with the dangers of smoking and the impact of vaping on the body.
- Introduction to various therapeutic techniques and impact on patient mental health and well-being.
